Question: Late Period!? WHY!!?!!!?
My cousin is 12 and got her first period like 4 months ago!. Now she is like 2 weeks late!. She aint prego cause she has no symptoms or anything!. & she just went to the doctor last month!. Is her period not coming cause it's just the beginning of it & her body aint used to it!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

it might take up to 2 yars for it to come every moth!.
let her know it may not come for a few months since it just started 4 months ago!. for the first couple years it can come and go when it feels llike it!.
and even after that it can come and go when it wants!. until i got on birth control pills mine would be on time one month 2 weeks late the next month 5 days early the next month!.
she has nothing to be worried about!. its totally normal!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is common for a a girl of 12 years who attained her menarche only about 4 months ago to have irregular periods for some time(say 2 to 3 years) for which a doctors advice may not be necessary unless she is having heavy periods or had sex etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
