Question: A woman's aging eggs and now it's 2008!?
Is there a way to repair damaged eggs (especially when so few, if any, remain)!? I am almost 53 and desire to conceive for one last time in this life!. My first child was born when I was almost 40 and is a healthy and contrary teenager!. I have researched and tried different means to purify my body and mind!. Any constructive advise would be appreciated!. By the way, I don't do this for me, but for the one I love the most!. Thank you!.

What I learned in my biology class was that women are born with several hundred thousands eggs, and it is not that fact that they get damaged or something like that!. Women just stop being able to conceive at a certain age!. You could always try to conceive and see what happens, and perhaps see a specialist in the area!. They would most definitely know more about the subject then I do!. Of the 400,000(estimate) eggs I believe women are generally born with they get released once a month during ovulation and it varies each month!. 1 month it is released from the left fallopian tube and then next month it is released from the right fallopian tube!. So it is best to find out if everything is still in "working condition" and then try to conceive!.
