Answers:
Small amounts of blood in the urine for a urostomate is a concern, especially if it's continual and may be symptomatic of something else going on and should be checked out!. Gross blood in the urine (which I define as continual or regular amount, even though small amount) could be symtomatic on any number of causes that need to be taken care of!.

Blood in the urine may or may not be accompanied by pain, but it is always abnormal and should be further investigated by a health care professional!. Painless blood in the urine also has many causes!. It could be related to the medication, it may even be related to the urostomy, but even if it is, it's still not a normal reaction regardless of whether or not you are menstruating!. This could be something very serious!. Call your doctor right away!.

I've had an ileostomy (no large intestine) and blood in the pouch is never considered anything normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

not really, there is no natural opening between the uterus and the bladder so your menstral blood should not exit via the bladder!.

either you are bleeding somewhere in the urinary system (kidney, ureter, bladder), or you could have an unusual opening between bladder and uterus (such as a fistula which can form after surgery)!.

either way probably best to get this checked!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no no no!. it is NEVER good to have blood in urine, thats a sign of something else, like bladder infections!.!.!.
go to a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
