Answers:
It takes about one month of taking the pills correctly before you can have sex without a condom!.

Since you're a day starter and not a sunday stater it's going to take take your period a month or two to become regular!.

But even when your period becomes normal starting your period mid week of your placebo pills is totally normal!. Your period can come anytime during that week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The pill isn't 100% effective and doesn't protect against STD's always use a back up!. Read the direction and they will tell you when you should be good to go!. Pills are hormones they will mess with your period till you are on schedule with them!. Also remember if you have to take antibiotics be sure to let the doctor know you are on BC because it can reduce the effectivness of the pillWww@Answer-Health@Com

You didn't read the instructions!. Generally with the pill, you start taking it when you first get your period!. That gives you a better schedule and more protection!. If you started on an off day and have only used it for a month, it won't regulate you!. To get "levelled out" it usually takes about 3 months!. It's been a while since I've been on the pill but I'd say wait another week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're normal!. Most women get their period around the middle of their reminder pill week!. Plus, your cycle is still adjusting to the new hormones!.

If you've been taking the pills correctly for a month, then you are protected from pregnancy!. Have fun (and be safe)!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you have been taking the pills as instructed, every day and not missed one, then you are protected from pregnancy!. Your body is likely settling down to the hormones and will enter a predictable pattern within the next few cycles!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

When your married!!

I'm not on the pill, but I am on the ring, which follows the same schedule!. Three weeks of hormones and one week of no hormones!. My schedule is such that I nearly always start my period on day 5 of the week with no hormones!. Remember, your body needs the hormones to stop as a signal that it's time to shed the uterine lining!. On your first day of pills with no hormones, you're body is still full of them!. You won't start your period until enough hormones have left your body to trigger the shedding of the uterine lining in you!. It can take a few days!. As for when you can start skipping condoms, unless you are in a monogamous relationship with a partner who's recently been screened for STIs and all tests have been normal, I would continue to use condoms!. I'm personally one to double up anyway!. While I am fluid bonded to my partner (both our recent STI screenings have come clean and we've been together for quite some time), we prefer to use condoms for vaginal intercourse!. Like I said, I'm on hormonal birth control, but we both like the added protection from pregnancy of using condoms as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
