I cannot believe some people's answers on here, why do people revel in scaring people!? There is absolutely no link to breast cancer with what you have stated so please ignore that childish, cruel answer!.
The other answer is closer to the truth though!. The birth control pill is used to help periods as well as being used as a form of contraception!. I would say that your doctor prescribed you the most common, typical type of pill to help you with your periods, but like everything, it's trial and error and what is good for some people is not so good for others, so I'd just go back to the doctor and get them to place you on another type of pill, because eventually, there will be one out there that will help you!. I can only imagine that multiple periods are no fun and the heaviness you could also do without, particularly at your age, where you should be enjoying yourself!. Until you get to the doctors, there isn't much else you can do, could you maybe get a cancellation or fight for an earlier appointment!? It's just a waiting game failing that, sorry you have to go through a constant period and I hope you get sorted soon xWww@Answer-Health@Com

Your Birth Control may be to weak for you, I was on one that was to weak and I kept spotting and getting 2 periods a month until I told my doctor and they changed my pill right away!. Call your doctor you may not even have to be seen!. Good Luck Www@Answer-Health@Com
