It depends on what you're craving!. If it is something healthy that is even a good idea to eat it!. But if it is something unhealthy then that is your body saying it is lacking something, but what you're craving isn't what it needs!.
I very often crave Chocolate on my period, but I learned from my personal natural studies and going to my Naturalpath/Homeopathic Doctor (who is also a medical doctor by the way) when you're on your period is the last time of the month you should be eating chocolate!. Your body is already under stress menstruating and dealing with the chocolate just stresses it more at a time when it already has a lot to deal with!. It will make cramping and pms worse!. Take extra Calcium!.
A good rule of thumb is to eat healthy foods!. If you're craving something unhealthy your body is really wanting a vitamin, mineral or nutrient it's low on!. Calcium and Iron are common ones to be lacking in during your period!.
You can start taking extra Calcium a week or so before it starts to help with Menstrual cramping and other symptoms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on what you are craving!. I don't think large amounts of fatty foods are every healthy but if your like me then thats what you crave!. I eat it regardless!. If I try to fight the cravings then it gets worst and I end up over eating on the junk food!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well I always crave chocolate but I know its not healthy!. I eat it anyway because I'm cranky if I don't! So its not healthy but it makes you happy! So just do it just in moderation!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
