Question: Why are periods irregular !? !?
I am 18 and I have never had normal cycles I think should go see I doctor but I am really nervous!. I know I am not pregnant because I am not sexually active!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on how irregular they are!. If it's really bad, by a few weeks, or even months, then you should go see a doctor!. If it's just a few days, then you're fine!.
A lot of women aren't perfectly regular!.
So as long as they're not weeks apart, don't worry!. And if it really bothers you, then you can go see a doctor and would most likely be prescribed a birth control pill that regulates periods!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

See a doctor anyway for peace of mind, but I've heard on web sites about periods it can take up to 3 and a half or more years for girls cycles to get regular!. Its not a big emergency if they aren't reg!. but see a doc!. just in case!.!.!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
