Does it happen that the morning after pills do not work, if so what might cause !

Question: Does it happen that the morning after pills do not work, if so what might cause that!?
Answers:
The longer you wait to take the morning after pill, the less effective it will be!. It prevents a pregnancy from occurring, so if the sperm and the egg haven't yet met, or if they have but have not implanted to the uterus, the pill will undo those things!. But if an zygote has formed and implanted to the uterus, the pill will not change anything and you will be pregnant!. So the key to the morning-after pill's effectiveness is taking it as soon as possible, and not wasting a minute!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nothing you do after the fact is as effective at preventing pregnancy as the things you do beforehand!. The morning-after pill is a little less than 90% effective, so there's a 1 in 10 chance it will not work even if it's taken correctly!. That's a lot better than the 1 in 4 or 5 chance you have of becoming pregnant if you do nothing!. But it's far from being a highly effective method of birth control!.

"What causes it" to fail!? Well, the pill works by disrupting the normal hormonal sequence in order to do one of two things---to delay ovulation until all the sperm have died (3-5 days) or to prevent implantation of a fertilized egg, if ovulation was NOT delayed!. It fails if ovulation was already in the process of occurring, so it couldn't be stopped, and it fails because sometimes fertilized eggs find a way to implant anyway!.

The sooner you take it, the better, but it still doesn't work all the time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is no way for this pill not to work, when taken as directed, in the time frame directed!.

The "morning after Pill" or Plan B, contains a very strong hormone - the equivalent of taking four birth control pills at one time!.

So again, if you take the pill as directed, it will absolutely be effective for you!.

Take care and I wish you well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The web site of it freely admits that it only prevents pregnancy in 7 out of 8 women who would have become pregnant!. So it doesn't have a 100% effectiveness rate, like any other birth control!. I don't know specifically what causes it to fail, why the hormones don't have the same effect on some women, I guess it is too late!. Also waiting more than 24 hours to take it makes the effectiveness decrease substantially!.

I took the plan b once and it did not work and I took it in the time frame!. I took it within 72 hours of having sex!. The percentage of its effectiveness dwindles as the days pass that you had unprotected sexWww@Answer-Health@Com
