Pain in lower abdomen (left side)? Ovulation?!

Question: Pain in lower abdomen (left side)!? Ovulation!?
I have had a really sharp pain in my abdomen all day!. It is very uncomfortable and feels as thought there's a knot or something tied in my stomach (if that makes any sense at all!?!)

Anyway, it started at my left side, but now it's kind of central/to the left!.

I don't know if I might be ovulating - searched on google and some women can experience this type of pain when the egg is released!.

It is very uncomfortable!. Any tips on how to ease it!? My lower back also has a slight twinge!.

Thanks ladies in advance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I get that all the time! yes, its painful and uncomfortable!.
Are you due on your period, if so that is completely normal!
Best way to ease it is to have a hot bath, put a hot water bottle on your belly and keep your abdomen warm and covered!. This usually makes you feel more at ease!. If you still don't feel very comfortable, take a tablet!.

Hope ive helped!. xxWww@Answer-Health@Com

There are several causes of lower abdominal pain (on either side)!. I had a similar occurrence a few months ago in my lower right side!. I looked it up online and read that it could be ectopic pregnancy, appendicitis, constipation, ovarian cyst, etc!. (the list goes on)!. The pain continued throughout the day and I got concerned, so I visited the urgent care!. They found that it was a benign ovarian cyst that would clear up on its own and I have had no complications sense!. If the pain continues, I would visit the doctor, as this could be symptomatic of many things!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It probably wouldn't hurt to go to the doctor because urinary tract infections can present that way and I had a kidney infection that started that way!. Better safe than sorry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

some people can feel ovulation!. it is like light menstrual cramps (but obviously in the middle of your cycle)!. do whatever you would do to ease menstrual crampsWww@Answer-Health@Com
