I have had my period for 9 years and I got my period yesterday, and I went to the bathroom about 10 minutes ago (its almost 4 in the morning here) and I had a huge blood clot, which isn't so abnormal for me!. I was expecting to see one when I wiped!. But after I wiped I saw that there were a bunch of little pieces of what looked like body tissue in the blood clot that was the size of a ping pong ball!. The pieces were like the size of half a pea!. That has never happened before! It that normal!?
I know that you shed your uterus lining when you have your period so tissue will be coming out with it, but is it normal to see it!?! Www@Answer-Health@Com

unfortunately yes these are normal in women who do not use the pill and are not pregnant the body produces too much prostaglandin hormone!. Usually it stops in a day or so, but the Dr can prescribe hormones to stop your bleeding meantime!.As long as your period was on time and there was no chance of pregnancy or pain I am afraid it gets worse, much worse with stress too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Don't worry yourself!. My best friend had it happen to her and she went to the doctor!. All he had to say was that your uterus sheds its lining when you have your period and this is a normal thing!. I even had a look when we had a shower ( we shower together as I have to shave her vagina for her!. I do it alot; I'm a beautician) together and there was nothing wrong with her vagina or labia!. Just make sure that if you have sex you don't have any blood clots as it is a health risk!. Hope this helps and remember, don't worry!.

Probably absolutely normal!. I have this happen as well and believe me as I have endometriosis more doctors have looked at my vagina then I ever want to think about!. However if the blood is not the normal colour then I would get checked or if you are having an abnormal amount of pain!. Of course you can always get checked if for nothing else then to ease your mind!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hmmm!.!. that is weird, especially since you dont get clots like that!.!.
it sounds to me like you are having a miscarriage!. the reason i think that for, is because my sister has had four miscarriages and she passed big clots like that, but she cramped way worse than she ever did!.!.!. she never got clots either until she had a miscarriage!.
i know you said you are on birth control, but i got pregnant on the pill!.!. that's no lie!. even the doctors told me that!. i swear , i never missed one and took them at the same time every morning, but i had the flu and got antibiotics and they some how mess with the pill!. Three different doctors told me that!.!.!. but if you got your period when you expected it, i doubt it that is what it is!.!.!. I was on YAZ for 1 1/2 month!.!. i bleed for exactly one month and i bleed really bad, also!.!. i hate YAZ, and i would never take them again!.!. so i would say it is just YAZ!. how long have you been on that pill!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
