well i was supposed to start my period!. i have been very regular since starting my birth control!. well yesterday i thought i started!. i seen very little blood it was pinkish kinda and it was dark brown!. well today its been dark brown!. can you tell me what this dark brown stuff is!?!?!? i think i might have had a miscarriage last month!. i was on my period for about four weeks and i just stopped last week and now this is started again!. but it supposed to be time for my period!. but i'm not sure if i had a miscarriage because if i did i would have been only about 4weeks along!. and i didn't know it!.!.but last month i had very bad blood clots with little grayish whitish thing!.(which is reason for thinking miscarriage) well anyways if someone could help and tell me what this brown stuff is now!.!.!. that would be great! and i don't have money to go to my doctors otherwise i would!.!.but as soon as i get my check from school i'm going but i kinda wanna know now!.!. sorry its confusing but yeah thanks in advance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I totally agree with them!. And for some good reassurance i went to my Gyn today and asked about brown discharge because for the past 2 weeks i have been discharging brown and was freaking out , finally today was my gyn appointment!. I also just had a miscarriage 4 months ago (had to have a D&C)!. Anyway my Doctor told me that brown discharge is old blood and very normal so don't worry like i do!. I was on yahoo for 2 weeks reading stories of women with the brown discharge and everyone said it was old blood but i was still nervous because i know there not doctors but it is still comforting to read about women having the same experience!. My point is that i went to the doctor and he said the same thing everyone else did that it's old blood and very normal!.Relax and don't worry but go to your gyn for regular visits and whenever you feel irregular about your body !.Good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I agree with the women it's probably just left over blood from your previous period so you shouldnt worry!. But thinking that you could of had a miscarriage is very serious and you should try to visit a doctor alot sooner!.Especaillly if it was because you may not gotton rid of all the fetus can could only be taken away by a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The brown stuff is "old" blood and is normal!. Each month the uterus sheds its lining, which is how your period happens!. Sometimes, not all of the lining sheds and sits until it's time for your next period!. The lining turns a darker color as it sits and so when it's shed with your next period, that's what you see!.
It's completely normal, although it sounds sorta weird!. As far as a miscarriage, I can't tell you that for sure!. You would have to have a doctor take a look and maybe do some blood tests to know for sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
