Question: Just started birth control pill and have been spotting!.!.!.!?
Ladies, I need your input!. I started taking the pill about three weeks ago, and I've had spotting every single day, enough where I need to wear tampons or pantiliners!. Is it normal to have irregular vaginal bleeding for this long while on the pill!? When will it stop!? It's really stressing me out because my hormones are all crazy (i'm breaking out, my boobs are really tender, i'm moody) and I feel like I've been on my period for almost a month now! Yes, it's normal!. I spotted the entire first month when I started hormonal birth control!. Generally the spotting should stop within 3 months!. Your body just needs to get used to the hormones!. If the spotting continues after the 3 months ask your doctor to switch your birth control pills to another brand with a different level of hormones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I'm a nurse, and unfortunately this can happen when taking birth control!. But if it continues, you can call your Dr!. and ask that it be changed to something else!. They're usually pretty good about changing it!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
