Question: Was the Doctor inappropriate!?
Today I had a skin check done (to look for moles etc) and he looked under my bra (the cups) I wanted to say how skin cancer or moles would get there as I do not lie in the sun topless!.!.!.he didn't offer me privacy behind a curtain either!.!.!.I had to also have a breast exam cause I have a swollen breast and he then wanted to check my breathing with my bra off 9I told him i had asthma and have coughed up blood this morning so I assumed that is why he wanted to check my breathing)!.!.!.!.then when I got changed again he was sitting at his desk not looking but I wanted to ask If I could close the curtain!.!.anyway was he inappropriate!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

He should have asked if you felt comfortable with him checking there!. It depends on how professional his manner was!.

no, doctor's see that all the time!. if your having a full body exam to check for moles, it's normal for them to check the entire body!. if you are uncomfortable with a male doctor, you could try to find a female dermatologist for your exam!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
no not really!.!. i mean he's done it so many times that he doesn't even pay attention to little things like that!.!. for him it's no big deal, its you that reacts so strongly to it cuz you're not use to it!.!. you can just ask him next time and tell him you're not comfortable, i'm sure he'll undertand!.!.
