Well, the first thing you did that was dumb was throwing away the container!. How can you identify the worms if you threw it away!?

If they are just maggots, something got spilled in there, a fly landed, laid eggs!. Dirty, but not dangerous!. Im assuming you mean milk bottle nipples!. Probably some milk got dripped in the bottom!.

He'll be fine, im sure!.

This is likely the case, since most parasites cant just spontaneously grow off kid spit alone!.

See if a doctor responds, but CALL someone first, maybe a poison control center, before taking the kid to the damn emergency room!.

Make a pediatric appointment with your regular doctor!. No worm is going to kill him in a week, anyway!.

Also, you can check his nether region while he's sleeping at night and see if you see any worms poking their heads out!.

seriously, my gma did it once to my brother, i was creepedWww@Answer-Health@Com

It could be that the black stuff is mildew from your Mother not cleaning/drying the nipples properly and moisture built up in the container!.
As for the worms!.!.!. It depends on what they look like!.!.!. but if they are short then they are probably maggots!. Which is NASTY but I don't think they would hurt your son as they would be destroyed in his digestive tract!. If they actually are WORMS though, and he ingested them, then depending on the type of worm he could get them!.
Your best bet is to go to your sons pediatritian to be certain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would have him see a dr just to be on the safe side if i was you but then again you are his mother so it is totally up to you but my opinion is you should just to make sure everything is ok with him because you never know if the container was in his reach at all if he could have gotten ahold of it when u werent looking but just some friendly advice

hope it helpedWww@Answer-Health@Com

I know kids eat worms all of the time!. I wouldn't be concerned unless you see something that indicates an allergic reaction in your child!. Like a rash, hard time breathing, etc!.Call poison control if you're unsure!. They are used to answering all kinds of weird questions like this!.That's what they're there for!.

He really should be ok because digestive juices can handle organic matter in small quantities!. At his age, he most likely gets a lot more bacteria just from crawling around!. Don't worry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Shouldnt have a problem with it!.!.!.
Just make sure you keep an eye on him closly for the nt 24 hours, tempriture change, moody, vomiting, or diarreah - not good sign - DOC ASAP!.!. but honestly he should pass them without a hassle!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
