Answers:
Yes you will have to get one yearly once you reach about 18 or become sexually active which ever comes first!. Basically you will lay back on the exam table and put your feet in "stirups" which designed to help hold you in the correct position!. The doctor will have you scoot the the edge of the table and will insert a device called a speculum into your vagina!. The speculum opens up your vagina to allow the doctor to take a swap of your cervix with a small device that looks a bit like a broom!. The doctor when then do a regular pelvic exam which involves inserting a finger into your vagina and then palpitating your abdomen to feel for any abnormalities!. Some doctors will also insert a finger in your rectum to allow them to feel the rear part of the reproductive system!. The swab the doctor took of your cervix will be sent to a lab to be tested for any abnormal cells that could indicate cancer or precancerous cells Www@Answer-Health@Com

You will have to get one yearly when you reach about 20 years old or when you become sexually active!.
Basically, they stick a plastic "gun" inside you and open it up like an alligators mouth!. After that they put long Q-tips in and swab away!. They will also shove their fingers in there and feel around!. This includes feeling your stomach/abdomen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
