What's going on with my cycle?!

Question: What's going on with my cycle!?
I had my son nearly a year ago now!. I breast fed and had my first period 3months after he was born!. Since then every month has been 28day cycle (just like before he was born)!. But last month I was a week late and this month I'm a week late!. And last week I was admitted to hospital because I was in a lot of pain, they thought it was my appendix, kidneys or maybe a cyst on my ovary that burst, I'm due for a scan in the next week to see what's going on!. I was just wondering if my cycle's beoing 5weeks long now has anything ot do wiht the pain I'm in and could it be my ovaries!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Could be your ovaries and cysts!. Again have you thought of endometriosis!? It causes a lot of pain and weird cycles etc!. Pregnancy can also help with endometriosis and often it will sort of halt the endometriosis process only to have it recur when you have the baby!. Did you have pain before you got pregnant!? My endometriosis has never shown on an ultrasound or scan and it can only be diagnosed through a laparoscopy (day surgery)!. Hopefully it is nothing too major!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
