Well it may not hurt as much the next two times because you may get a different nurse or they might do it more gently!. You just have to push through the pain!. Its just like getting a punch in the arm, it only hurts for a little while!. Imagine the pain of having to go through chemo or surgery if you get cervical cancer!. Plus if you dont complete the series it wont be effective, so you will have gone through the pain of the first one for nothing, especially if you paid a lot of money for it!. Dont stop now!. It is a vaccine for the Human Papillomavirus!. There are more than 100 types of HPV most of which are harmless!. 15 of them are linked to cervical cancer!.

The vaccine protects you from 2 of the 15 types of human papillomavirus that can trigger cervical cancer in 70% of cases!. In America it is approved for girls from 9 to 26 and may be of benefit to those even older!.

No matter what your sexual history the vaccine can help as if you have already been exposed to HPV it can prevent subsequent infections!.

The side affects are no more severe than with any other vaccine and doctors say that the life-saving benefits outweigh the dangers!.

Surely a little pain now is better than increasing your risk of cervical cancer!? This vaccine is designed to save lives I would definitely have the jabs myself as it would be truly awful to get cancer and to know that I could have done something to prevent it!

Hope this helps!

I just finished my shots a little while ago!.

Just grin and bear it!.!.!. be a big girl!. You have two more to go and then you never have to endure it again!. Besides, it doesn't hurt for very long after the initial injection!.

You have to do what you have to do!. Just deal with it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think dying from cervical cancer would be a lot more painful!. You just need to get it over and done with and take the pain!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Apart from avoiding cervical cancer there is a good chance you wont have to go for a smear for 10 to 20 years rather than every 4!.
Male here so not sure but I'd guess that would be worth avoiding!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
