I had a Pain in My lower Abdomen could I be getting my first period?!
Question: I had a Pain in My lower Abdomen could I be getting my first period!?
Today , I had a very sharp pain in my Left and a little in my right abdomen!. It was really painful it felt like I had a cramp or something!. I haven't had my period b4!. I am 13!. My mom had her s at about 12!. I have pubic hair but not on my armpits!. I seem to be pretty developed!. Was that A sign that i am getting my first period!? And I know it wasn't just a stomach ache!.!.!. So if so should I be getting my first period soon!? Are there otehr symptoms I should be looking for!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah!. thats one of the signs for getting your period!. i usually experience that!. 13 is a normal age for getting your period, because by the sounds of it, you have already hit the early stages of puberty!. I got mine when i was in year 6, at 12 years old!.
other signs are:
-breast tenderness
-discharge
-cravings - usually for salty or sweet foods
-back pain
-cramps
-headaches
-dizzyness
-becoming bloated
-break outs
-PMS - irritability, emotional outbursts
you may experience only a few of these!. but they are all normal, so there is nothing to worry about!.
