Its okay, the irritation is the hair growing back!. It will happen the first few times you shave, but it will eventually go away!.

Try not to wear panties that might irritate the hair follicles (silk, satin, thick cotton, polyester), apply a thin layer of baby oil/baby powder/or heavy lotion a few times throughout the day!.

Make sure you're using shaving cream and not a soap, body wash, or shampoo!. You need the razor to be well lubricated to prevent razor burn, too!.

The only reason its irritated is because the skin is exposed where it usually isn't!. There is nothing wrong with shaving if you're comfortable with it- I personally think its MORE comfortable than having hair!

Don't worry, i actually did the same thing 2 days ago for the first time as well!. It was very itchy and everything with small red spots, but i'm all good now and it's been just under 2 days so you should be okay soon!. Somebody gave be the advice though to have it done properly by getting somebody else to do it, or at least put some cream on so it's not so irritating and itchy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ooohhhh!.!.!.!.I hate that feeling, try to wear stuff that won't rub on the area!.
I highly recommend getting some Bikini Zone, it always makes my razor burn feel better and helps the red bumps go away faster!. You didn't do anything wrong, the irritated feeling will go away with time but be prepared for it to itch like heck when the hair starts growing back!. Best of luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

okay!. i learned using a razor for shaving down there is a huge no no!

I use a regular electric beard clipper!. it cuts close but not so close to wear your sensitive skin is being exposed!. this also prevents nasty painful ingrown hairs!. So your still left with some stubble but at least you wont have any nasty bumps and rashes from it!. I love using mine!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

first things first: try aloe vera - which calms the skin!. I use some blue aloe gel from Bed Bath!.!.!.that has lidacaine (cools) (its really for sunburn, but works good for irritated skin)!.

Consider getting a brazilian wax from the salon!. takes it all off - hurts like hell, but youre baby soft for weeks and no razor burn!.

Also- keep away from the razor!. I use an electric trimmer for mine!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

The only thing to do now is to put on some lotion!. But not like perfumed lotion!. The first time I did it it was SO irritated too but then after a while you get used to it!. Just put on some like baby lotion or something like that and you should be ok =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

I did this once and regretted it so badly!. LOL
You're going to have really bad razor burn until it grows back!.
Well you tried it and it wasn't for you so now you know for the next time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
