Answers:
Firstly is depends on her age!. Young girls who have recently started menstruating are very likely to have irregular periods at first, though they normally settle down after a couple of years!. However, some women do not often have regular periods, sometimes skipping, sometimes being delayed!.

The most reliable way to regulate periods is by use of the contraceptive pill!. These are taken each day beginning on the first day of your period for 21 days!. Then a break of 7 days without any pills is taken, in which you will bleed!. Then a further 21 days of pills is taken followed by another break of 7 days and so on!. This will regulate the period so that it falls exactly four weeks apart!. Contraceptive pills are also (when taken correctly and not skipped) 99!.9% effective as a method of Birth Control and can help with acne, menstrual cramping and sometime PMS!.

I would advise your girlfriend to speak to a doctor about whether the contraceptive pill is right for her!. A medical professional will always give the best advice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It doesn't sound like she needs a remedy!. She probably just has a longer than average cycle, and it is normal to her!.

Anything from 21 to 35 days IS normal!. If she is consistently "delayed" five days each month, she only needs to start counting 33 days to estimate her next period, instead of 28!.

Why would she want to have more periods than necessary!? She can still get pregnant just the way she is!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
