Question: On the pill, forgot to take it!.!.!.had an encounter, then took it!!?
I've been on the pill (low egestrel) for about 6 mothns now!. My last period was 2 weeks ago and I keep my pill routine stable!. Yesterday, after a long day of work, and a crucial sexual encounter with my boyfriend I realize at night that I have forgotten to take the pill!. I took it right there on the spot after reading the safety packet!. Now Im terrified to take the next pill because I'm afraid that if I got pregnant something bad will happen!. Any thoughts, I called my doctor and they said to take it, but the "nurse" or assistant really didnt sound convincing!.

You should be fine!. As long as you are taking it all the time routinely, its ok to miss one day and since you took it, you will should be fine!. The pills control your estrogen levels through out the month, so one pill on the day you had sex you missed by hours I am assuming, then you should be fine!. I have forgot to take it for a day and have had to take two the next day (almost never happens) and I have been fine!.
I am no doctor, but from person experience and the advice that i have gotten from my friends who take birth control I am guessing you should be fine!.

if you are worried about it , dont have any sexual intercourse till you find out if your pregnant and get back on your birth control if you arent
just make sure to wait about 7 days when going back on it ,before having sex
im in the same boat unsure if im pregnant !.!.!. so i justed stopped taking it to be sure
but there are alot of women who get pregnant and dont know for quite a few weeks but there still on birth control but i think if you can avoid it !.!. that better

your fine!. trust me!. it has happened to me on several occasions!. the fact that you have been on the pill for 6 months already proves the hormones are already apart of your system now!. one day wont make a difference but if you said you forgot to take it in a week or two now thats a different story!. hope i helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
On my packets, they say that very little or no damage will happen to the fetus!. I miss pills every once in awhile and dont use a condom with my boyfriend but im still not pregnant!. It is still verrrrryy unlikely you will get pregnant if you take your pill!. If you stop, then you give it a bigger chance to get pregnant!. So!.!.!.take your pill!Www@Answer-Health@Com
