Question: PID, is it possible for a virgin!?

I just wanted to know if it's possible for a female to have pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) even if she's a virgin!?!?!?

It is rarer than if you have had sex and/or have used an IUD, and/or have had any sort of invasive uterine surgery, but it CAN happen, especially if you douche!. All it takes is bacteria to be introduced into the cervical os, then into the cervical canal, where it can then spread into the uterine cavity and up into the fallopian tubes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
