Question: I lent my lipbalm to a friend!?
I asked her if she got coldsores and she said no but now I have a sore at the edge of my mouth!. this has happened before!. Should I throw the lipbalm and buy some new stuff!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cold sores are caused by a virus and once you've had them the virus stays in your body forever!. Since you've had them before, it wasn't the lip balm!.!.!.it was just the virus already in your body popping up!.

i have a friend that always finishes my lollipops after i had it in my mouth!. i'm not sick or anything but i would never do it!.
so yeah, throw it away, maybe get some cream or whatever to put on ur sore

Sounds like a good idea!. You'd be surprised to know how much germs are on one remote controller for one TV!. Never share cosmetics, if she has a cold sore, then used her lipbalm, then u used it, then likes are, you will have a cold sore too, cus ur sharing germsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Once you get a cold sore, it would always be with you like a diesease!.
Even if you do change your lipbalm, doesnt stop the cold sore from coming back if anything happens!.
