Does Birth control (Tri- Sprintec) cause constant bleeding and breast growth?!

Question: Does Birth control (Tri- Sprintec) cause constant bleeding and breast growth!?
or is it just me!? My Doctor put me on the combination (progesterone and estrogen) I think thats how its spelled!? For my Endometriosis and cysts and I have been having this blackish brown discharge (I'm assuming it is old scar tissue being forced out) mixed with blood for about 3 weeks!.It doesn't hurt or anything its just making me very tired losing so much blood, and in this time I have gone from weighing 134 lbs!. - 115!. Thats a lot of weight lost in 3 weeks!. The Endo is what initially caused the weight gain because when I was first diagnosed I weighed 100 pounds and my weight went up after that (no change in my diet at all) now that I am on the pill I have been losing weight but noticing breast soreness and growth!. Is any of this normal!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Sounds like you might need a higher strength of a pill to help stop your endometriosis!. Being on the pill and bleeding like this with your condition is a common thing!. Call your doctor he/she probelly will change your medication!. As far as the weight goes, it sounds like you may have benefited from the pill and your condition!. But more than 15lbs sounds very drastic!. Bring that up to your md!. The breast soreness and growth is very normal too!. I feel a lot fuller on the pill and more tender!. Also another thing to keep in mind is that tri-sprintic is a multi levle bc (triphasic thus tri-sprintic)!. It trys to mimic your natural schedule!. I myself have the same condition as you and the triphasic bc pills have had a greater tendancy to make me bleed!. I have tried a great deal of pills and it seems like the monophasic (one constant levle) seem to do me best!.
I still do have as you explained the breakthrough bleeding as you have indicated for 3-4 weeks at a time but it happens less frequently!. My doctors in the past sent me horomone hopping and I have tryed everything except progestin only tablets so I stick with what I have now, its the best I have been since I was 12!. Please note your doctor is the only one whom can determin what is best for you!. This is just some info to share with you as to my experance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would call your doctor and tell them what is going on because that does not sound normal at all i was on tri-sprintec for a while and nothing like happened to me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
