im 20 years old and ive never used tampons!. i really want to start using them!. it really sucks when you wanna go swimming with your friends and you cant because your wearing a pad!. and i feel like pads are so messy and gross but everytime i try to use tampon i just cant get it in!. i dont know how to angle it and im afraid itll hurt!. (im also a virgin!. its my choice dont judge and its not for religious reasons) any tips!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was just like you!. I didn't start wearing tampons till I was 19 and I was a virgin as well!. I couldn't get the tampon in the dozen tries, but what really worked for me was buying slim tampons or "juniors" with a plastic applicator!. They should be much easier to insert and it shouldn't hurt!.

well when u go swimming, if ur period isnt rlly heavy then it should stop while ur in the pool!. but if u wanna use tampons n e ways, wen u put them in, angle it kinda towards ur back and just push!. its hard to get in the first time and the first inch of ur vagina is a little tighter!. just put ur middle finger and thumb on the ridged part of the plastic(between the 2 parts of the tampon) and ur pointer finger on the top!. once it is all the way in, push the top of the tampon with ur pointer finger to push the cloth part in, and then pull the applicator out and voila! if in doubt, read the box too!. best of luck! : )Www@Answer-Health@Com
point it to your spine, push the whole thing in intill your knuckles then push the top part in get the ones with the string and it doen't hurt unless its going in the right way hope you have good luck I started useing a tampon when I was 20 tooWww@Answer-Health@Com
