im sixteen and my period hasnt regualted yet
like i can go three months without getting it
anyways my question;
im ready to have sex and i want to know if my chances of getting pregnat are higher or lower since my period hasnt regulated or does it not have any effect!?
i know im young so please dont say like wait or anything because im ready now and i just need to know!.

That's the dowfall of not having regular periods, you never really know when you are ovulating!.
Your best bet would be to go the doctor's, of course if you don't want your parents to find out you can't!. So instead use condoms every time you have sex!.
Or you can also talk to your mom about putting you on some pills that will regulate your period!. They are like birth control pills and they are also used when people have irregular periods, so it'll be like killing two birds with one stone: You will be on birth control and your periods will be normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Because of your age and the irregularity or your cycle you need to see a DR!. you may have an imbalance that can be corrected!.
I know you don't want to hear it but I do hope you are ready and have considered the outcome of a sexual relationship!. There is so much more at risk than and STD or accidental pregnancy!. Your descision will have a lasting and emotional effect on you and chances are it will not be as positive as you may assume!. I really wish someone would have told me!.

i dont think that it would be a good idea for you to start having sex until your period is regulated!. for instance since most get their period every month, and then miss a month they think "oh i could be pregnant" but its normal for you to go 3 months without!. you may realize your pregnant when its too late!. So if u do start having sex u need to take a preg test every week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Just wait omg blah blah blah!. jk!. I was 16 once!. It's not higher or lower!. Just stay protected(condoms, spermicide etc) and if you become sexually active, like on a regular basis!.!. Start birth control!. You can get it at a family planning clinic!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
