CALLING ALL WOMEN...Help a fellow women!?!

Question: CALLING ALL WOMEN!.!.!.Help a fellow women!!?
Ok, So I'm 14 and a half!.
I had my first period 2 years ago!. My period is normal!.
So is my discharge!.
But I get it everyday! It's normal and healthy!. I don't masturbate and I'm not sexually active!.

- Am I getting discharge everyday because I'm going through puberty and hormones and stuff or what!?

- Will it lessen as I get older!?

- If not, how can I lessen it!? Washing more down there or drinking water or something!.!.!.!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It is normal to get it everyday so don't worry, this is your reproductive systems natural way of cleaning itself!.
For some women it does lessen, particularly when they reach menopause!.
There isn't much you can do to lessen it but washing regularly stops it from building up!. Drinking water is good for your entire body anyway!.

If you notice any changes, like it becomes dark and orange, it smells bad, becomes clotted like cottage cheese or you get very itchy, then tell your Mum who will tell you anything you need to know about thrush :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge (mucous) is normal!. The vagina is self-cleaning!. You will also have your own 'scent' (musky) and it will smell stronger to you than to others!.

This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused!. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away!. It has a purpose for sex!. Wear pantyliners if it bothers you!.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle!. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching!. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection!.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating!.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising!.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor!.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina!. Old blood looks brown!.
