Scented tampons? Bad or good?!
Question: Scented tampons!? Bad or good!?
So I got scented tampons today and always heard that the gave you infections, is that true!? I don't want an infection duh haha, but I mean I already got them and opened the box, and I know I'm probably over reacting but I don't feel like getting an infection!.Thanks!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should start with unscented tampons, but if you want to, feel free to use scented!. The scent is made for a tampon, so they know what will irritate and what will not when they make the product!. Obviously then, they'll make it so it won't irritate you!. If you're allergic to fragrence or have skin that irritates easily, don't use scented tampons, but otherwise, it won't bother you, and i like them! And its not like the scent is on the outside of the tampon where it will have contact with your vagina!. its in the thread in the middle, where it poses the least risk of irritation!. and most women don't irritate, so you should be good!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
I know people who use scented tampons as well, it varies from person to person whether you can handle them or not!. I can't use scented ones, makes me want to scratch and gets very annoying!. There are artificial ingredients in them which will cause irritation and can lead to yeast infection!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
well my mom always told me to get the unscented, so i always have!. but as long as you follow the instructions and don't leave it in for too long or anything, i'm sure you'll be fine!. i mean, otherwise they would have stopped making them right!? unless you have sensitive skin, then i definitely wouldn't use them!. Yes they bleach it and put a LOT of chemicals in there which you dont want inside of you

Its all personal, some people who are more sensitive to fragrance have problems with them, while some don't see that they do anything different, I would try it out, if you notice you are getting irritated discontinue use!. You wont get an infection immediately!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
i know its a bad idea because my bff got a terrible infection, and for 2 months she had to visit a gynecologist like every 3 days and was put on this medicine that gave her a rash, not a good ideaWww@Answer-Health@Com
I find scented ones irritating and itchy!. They didn't ever give me an infection, but the stuff they used to scent the tampons drove me crazy because of how irritating they were!.
