I've been taking it for awhile now but have a quick question!. I was a lil late getting my next pack of birth control [by 4 days] but as soon as I got it I started the pack!. But within the first week I had sex [more like a quickie with no climaxes lol!.!.!.] and i was wondering if those four days would screw up my cycle and make me more likely to get pregnant!. We did use a condom and there was no precum [told you it was a quickie]!. We were trying to be extra safe!. But I would still like to know if i could get screwed up from those 4 days that i didn't have a new pack to start!. If you can answer please tell me! Thanks!

It is possible to get pregnant any time you skip pills, including starting a new pack late!. However, usually when you've been on birth control pills for a while, it takes a few months before your body readjusts!. When women who have been on bc pills decide to have a baby, they're usually told that it may take a few months after stopping the pills!. And the fact that you used a condom means you're probably fine!.
If the sex was less than 72 hours ago and you want to be extra protected, talk to a pharmacist about whether you should take Plan B!. It's over the counter now so you don't need to get a doctor's prescription, but you do have to find out whether your pharmacy carries it, and I think you will have to show ID that you're 18!. (If you're not, do you have a friend who you could ask to get it for you!? I notice your profile says you're almost 18, but I don't know if it's out of date!.)

after 3 days of skipping pills ou should throw away the pack n start a whole new one!.!.!. and u missed 4 so the pills are not effective any more!.!.!. so you need to take the new pack u started all month b 4 you can have unprotected sex again!.!. cuz u missed 4 pills so they are not effective!.!.!. and your period probably wont come until the 3 or 4 reminder pill (the pill with no hormones) so after you get your period with this new pack then u are good to go!.!.!. so you have to wait to have unprotected sex with the next pack of pills!.!.!.make sure you get your new ones during the last week!.!.!.good luck hope i helped <3 Www@Answer-Health@Com
