Second bladder infection in two weeks?!
Question: Second bladder infection in two weeks!?
So last week, I was noticing that every time I tried to urinate, it burned to do so!. I also spotted a bit of blood in the urine!. Anyway, I got a urine test done, and they found that I had a bladder infection, so they gave me antibiotics to clear it up!. The bladder infection cleared for about 2 days, but I was still noticing a foul smell to my urine, and blood and all that, but the burning was gone!. I went back for another urine test, and got the results withing 2 days!. They found nothing!. Now, I`ve just taken a bladder test a few days ago, and found that I have a uti!. I was wondering, what`s they cause of frequent bladder infections!? Is there something more that I should be concerned about!? By the way, I'm only 17, and have sexually active!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A bladder infection, and a uti are different things!. The bladder infection is in the bladder, and a uti is in your urinary tract system!. Reoccurring bladder infections can occur, and is called cystitis!. If this continues to occur, i'm sure your dr!. will catch on! You are just going to have to "ride the wave" for now!.
