hey okay ive been on birth control for about 1 or 2 years now and i just was recently reading a pamphlet and i read that diarrhea can lower its effectiveness i was eating Chinese food Tuesday the sep!. 30 and i had

Okay, just know that you are fertile for about 72 consecutive hours ( 3 days) a month!. IF you had sex during the time you were 'sick' , AND you were in that 72 hour window of opportunity( which is about the third week of your cycle) then there is a chance you could conceive!. Also know that antibiotics also reduce effectiveness of BC because they thin the mucus plug on your cervix!. You know, if you have regular cycles, you could just get an ovulation test and find out when you are fertile, then if there is any question about anything affecting your BC, you avoid sex those three important days!.
