Is this normal for IUD?!

Question: Is this normal for IUD!?
I got an IUD put in almost three weeks ago and I haven't stopped bleeding since!. It isn't like my normal heavy period flow, but it is enough that I have to wear a pad or tampon at all times!. Is this normal with IUDs!?

Answers:
Yes, thats normal!. I had my IUD inserted 6 weeks ago!. I'm just now stopping bleeding!.

If you have a Mirena or another hormone based IUD (copper t isn't hormone based, so I don't know about those) what is happening inside your body is that the walls of your uterus are thinning out, and this is what is causing all the bleeding!.

Your doctor should have covered this with you-- if you have any questions, call her or go on the maufacturer's website for information!.

Oh yes-- and ignore all the horror stories online!. Those are rare!. And please ignore chinaman!. I've spoken personally to many women who have used to IUD successfully for years and since I've had one, I've loved it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That is why IUD is not the safest contraceptive there is in the world!. Go to the ER, and have it removed!. You could bleed to death!. IUD can lead to ectopic pregnancy and cervical cancer!. If you want to stop yourself from conceiving have a tubal ligation which is permanent!. Or just use condom, spermicide, or injectables!. Don't use IUD! No matter what your doctor says on how safe it is!. Profuse bleeding is bad!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
