Answers:
He, 'convinced you to have a second baby' !? That's a decision for the patient and her partner to make, not your Dr! With regards to the SSRI, were you actually feeling depressed in the first place!? Really it's better if you had counselling, withdrawal from SSRI's can sometimes be an issue, generally your Dr should gradually decrease your dosage to prevent withdrawal side effects!. I would see another Dr if I were you!.

With regards to taking the SSRI during a pregnancy, like all medications taken during pregnancy, it should only be taken if absolutely necessary, With Lexapro, there simply isn't enough research to know for sure whether this drug has an effect on he Foetus or not!. It really should be avoided!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Doctors are suppose to help you with your health and give some advice when asked!. If you asked him for lexapro or something similar then his answers are not anything to worry about!. If you don't want to pay the price of Lexapro you should aks if there is something that you can take that isn't so costly!. The pregnancy part however, a doctor should never convince you of anything that doesn't have to do with life or death!. Even if it was it still comes down to your choice whether you take the advice or not!. I think it's unethical for him to pressure you into having a child even if you were considering it or not!. He may suggest to you that you are in good health to have one or any other medical reasons however never push it as if you need to!. Also everything no matter what your doctor says is your choice!. If you aren't able to make your own choice when put in a pressured situation then you should change doctors!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

l'm also doubtful of that doctor!. He should be explaining about the pap smear thing and if it's to be done annually!. Better get a second opinion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

when you dont agree, always get a second opinion Www@Answer-Health@Com
