I am 16, still a virgin, and have never been fingered!.
Well, I have, but never penetrated!.
I can put tampons in, but how do I know if my hymen is broken!?
A few weeks ago, I had some weird very dark discharge, I looked it up, and it said it was probably part of the inside of my uterus due to a late period, which is weird, because that's never happened before, I always have very very irregular periods, usually I only get them every two to three months!.
I am a very active dancer, I'm on the Poms team at my school!. Could the irregular discharge be due to my hymen breaking, or something else!? Please answer!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dark discharge is usually from the end of your menstrual cycle!. You would most likely know at the time your hymen was broken that it happened!. Whether it had caused it to bleed or not, you would feel discomfort!. The easy way to figure it out is to take a mirror, and look inside your vagina!. You can see whether the hymen is broken or not!.
Your hymen kind of looks like a pointy piece of skin at the bottom of the opening of your vagina!.!.!.!.
If you're still not sure, the next time you go to the doctor you can ask them to check there for you!. I am guessing you did not lose your virginity, you're just experiencing irregularity and dark discharge from your periods!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Even though you are a virgin, your hymen is probably broken!. I heard from somewhere that usually by your age, its broken because of certain normal activities!. You said that you are an active dancer, so it is most likey not there anymore!. It's nothing to worry about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
cutiemam by 16 hymen is broken thats not true! im in my mid 20s and i still have mine and i dance around alot
i dont use tampons tho and dont do anything dangerous around the area!. i cant imagine that happening unless your on some kind of balance beam with something sharp in your underwear

You may have been born without a hymen!
and no, tampons have nothing to do with breaking your hymen!.

no it dosent hurt 2 have ur hymen broken!. but if u can put a tampon in then its broken but having ur hymen broken doesnt usually get dark idscharge out of u!. ur hymen is clear!. but it could b something else Www@Answer-Health@Com
if you can put a tampon in, your hymen is broken :) Its just a little piece of skin covering your vagina, so it can be broken long before you get your period by doing sports or doing the splits, etc!.
Irregular discharge is normal, its probably just the very beginning or end of your period when that happens, or when you're ovulating!. If it continues, you could have a yeast infection!. Buy a kit from target (they're like $6), it will tell you if you have a yeast infection/ urine infection/ etc!.!.!.
don't buy the kit if you don't think you have an infection though!. Its probably just because of your period, and nothing to worry about!.!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
