Question: They wont sell my condoms!? I am 16!?
The only store in my town refuses to sell me condoms!. I am responsible enough to know about safe sex, and I don't want to get pregnant!. This really upsets me!. Why wont they sell me condoms!? Are they allowed to do this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Unfortunately, if you live in a small town or its a privately owned pharmacy they can stop you from purchasing the condoms!. The practice may not be legal but these people can and do impose their beliefs on others (it happens with the morning after pill, birth control pills and certain narcotic medications too)!. If you have a chain store like target, walgreens, rite aid or something similar, you can get them there usually with no problems!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If they aren't going to give you any you should talk to your partner!. I'm guessing that your a girl!.That may be why but if a guy wants to buy them I'd bet that there will not be any problem!.
You should also have the ability to talk to an adult!. Someone who promotes safe sex and may work for the health industries!. I had a 'health center' at my High School and they gave me condoms!. If thats not an option look into planned parenthoods!. They should have one anywhere!. Planed Parenthoods are there for this reason! as far as im aware they are not allowed to do that!. they should let you buy the condoms!. ask them why they wont sell them to you!. you're obviously being smart about sex, and being safe!. by not letting you buy condoms they themselves are being irresponsible!. try buying them from a different place, or getting your lover of friends to get them for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I think they are allowed to not sell you any because all businesses have the right to deny service to anyone!. But that is very wrong!. I'm not sure about the legality but I'd say it's a terrible idea to refuse to sell them to you!. Some people are just butt-heads!. I hope you get to another store or get someone older to get them for you!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
