Female questions Pelvic aches & bleeding..?!

Question: Female questions Pelvic aches & bleeding!.!.!?
So I have a question!. For about 6 months now I have been having very light pelvic pain on the right side VERY light!. Just noticeable!. I did at first note go see my OB who did an Ultrasound & found cysts (normal), then I saw the GI Dr who did a Endoscopy (normal)!. Then at a followup Ultrasound my uterine lining was thickened!. They then did a Hysteroscopy & biopsied that (normal),

I had my yearly checkup almost 3 weeks ago & told the Dr, He said everything looks normal & feels normal, but what he can offer is a Laparoscopy!. I don't know what to say, isn't that something your Dr is supposed to decide (ha ha)!. So I leave; get my period on time then when it normally ends is day 4!. On day 5 & now day 6 I have had some blood once a day just I feel something run in & wipe & there it is!. That's it then for the day!. (the blood is red not dark)

I of course will call the Dr in the morning!. I am 30 years old btw!. Any input would be great!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be that your pain is caused by a condition called Endometriosis - this can cause Abdominal/pelvic pain - normally of a cyclical nature!. I suffer with this and tend to get my pain from about day 10 of my cycle onwards, sometimes it a small amount and sometimes its really bad pain!. It can cause a whole host of other symptoms too, like nausea, weight loss, fatigue etc!. A laparoscopy is the only real way to tell of someone does have Endometriosis and it can also be treated during the laproscopy also (cut out or lasered out - cutting it out is the best way(!. If no other cause can be found for your pain this the next thing the Doctor will suggest!. But it has to be done by a Gyno Dr experienced in dealing with Endo as he needs to know what he's looking for!. If your Dr has any suspicion that its Endo then a general surgeon should not be the person to do the surgery!.

Here's a link to some info on Endo, but there's many other sites on the net explaining about it also!.

The woman above me is right!. I have endometriosis, and it does cause aching and sometimes even sharp pains on my left side!. The only way to tell is to do a laparoscopy so they can get in there and actually see the growths, etc!.!.!. They don't show up on an ultrasound!. My mother had a laparoscopy done and she had a huge fibroid growing on her uterus, about the size of a grapefruit!, that the doctors somehow didn't know about before!.!.!.

It could be any number of things!. A laparoscopy will let the doctors SEE the problem, instead of just guessing!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
