Question: Is a tampon supposed to feel like this!?
I just put my first tampon in, and now it feels kind of tickely inside me!. It doesn't hurt, just feels weird!. Also, how do I know when to take it out!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should not feel a tampon at all if it is correctly inserted inside of you!. Are you using your fingers or a plastic/cardboard applicator!? An applicator might help you maneuver the tampon to the correct spot!.
If you are only beginning to wear tampons, change your tampon every time you go to the bathroom!. Soon you will begin to notice how quickly or slowly they fill, and from there you should be able to give yourself a good idea of how often you need to change your tampon at different stages of your period!.
Be sure, however, to never wear a tampon for more than eight hours, to never wear them while sleeping, and to only wear the lightest tampon you need!. If you only have a light flow, don't wear a super plus tampon- it could irritate your vagina, or make you sick!.
Above all, follow the golden rule of being a girl (for tampons, and for everything else) - if you feel uncomfortable, don't do it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

well there are directions on the back of the box, but you shouldn't ware them more than 8 hours, they might feel alittle weird, you might have to find a different brand or something, it's good that it's not hurting!. but i guess i've never had any sign that it was time to remove them, i just did when i had to use the bathroom, or if it's been in to long!. From personal experience, a tampon is more uncomfortable when I do not have alot of blood!. Like someone said before, you don't want to keep it in for 8 hours!. You should use a pantie liner and wear it til its pretty full!. because when it's not saturated with blood its harder to et out, and sometimes a bit painful!. i usually know when i feel a bit of leakage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
When the tampon has been in for 2 hours or more give a gentle tug on the string!. If you feel the tampon slipping then its probably full and you can slip it out!. If its still firmly stuck in its place leave it there for another hour or two!. Most girls change every 2-4 hours it just depends on what suits you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are just fine!. You will get used to them the more you use them!. You are suppose to only keep them in for 8 hours max!!! Do not sleep with them either!. You will need to wear a pad to bed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
