1 nipple issue? should i be worried?!
Question: 1 nipple issue!? should i be worried!?
i posted a q a little while back about my left boob seeming bigger than the other, now it is noticeably firmer, even to my fiance who i asked to take a look!. (and a touch)
however, i have now woken up this morning with a really painful nipple, and its still only the left 1!.
i have just had a very short but very heavy period, which seemed to come to an abrupt stop, however i ever get sore boobs during a period but do suffer badly with other pains!.
i am due to see the dr this week but could any1 shed some light on what this may be!? xxxxx thank u all so much!.

Well, first off, it's totally normal for one boob to be bigger than the other!. Almost every woman is like that!.
The firmness and painful nipple could signal a problem, but your dr!. will be better able to determine that than us!. They might run some tests or do a mammogram!.
Most likely, it's just something odd and nothing serious and will go away with a little time!. So don't assume the worst right off the bat!.

I had similar symptoms a couple of years ago - it turned out to be nothing more that hormones doing their thing!. Make sure you keep that appointment though!. Better to be checked out and have that peace of mind!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it might be from your period but if your dont sleep with a bra on try sleeping with it on for a few nights and see if that helps my nipples will get really sore and sensitive if i dont!.

Ok it may simply be due to having your period although with the painful nipple and only these symptoms in one breast you should defo get it checked up by your GP!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

With what I know about anatomy, which is not much!. This is probably bcause your body is still growing!. That will account for your breasts being different sizes!. A lot of women have different size breasts all of their life, it's normal!. As far as your nipples being tender, it is becaue you are having your period and most women (not all) experience the same thing!. Talk to your gynecologist or nurse or someone who is health service or maybe your Mom!. It isn't anything that you could have done!. Or anything to be embarassed about!.
