Is my Belly Button normal?!
Question: Is my Belly Button normal!?
I have an innie with an outie sticking out from inside of it and this makes it hard to clean!. When I spread it open I can see dirt inside the crevices and the skin is brown, even the outie part!. It was gross, my finger smelled like cheese after touching it!. Is this normal for my type of belly button!? It's not infected or anything!. I wash it in the shower but the inside does not get clean!. I have been told to use a q-tip but I feel weird sticking something in there!. I can't imagine that this is a common practice, it just seems so weird taking extra time to clean out the belly button!. I think it's because when I was younger my parents told me to leave it alone and not to touch it!. Is there anyone with this problem!? My friend thinks I'm the only one and doesn't understand why it is dirty even though I say I wash it in the shower!.

Picture!? every bellybuttons dirty and has crust in it!. its real sensitive too so if u try to scrub it off with ur nail it'll hurt use peroxide!. but really you dont need to be cleaning ur bellybutton so much!. no one looks there! haha seriously!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Your "belly button" is no doubt very normal!. Obviously, though, it does require a little more cleaning than some!. Use a q-tip and maybe some baby oil to clean it!. The oil will help loosen anything in there!. It might take quite a while, but bit by bit you can have a squeaky clean belly button! Then, after it's all clean, keep it so with regular soap and water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I dont think you have to clean out your belly button everyday i clean out mine with a q-tip about once every two weeks!. As for the smell I'd say if its not interfering with your life then you dont need to do anything about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
