Was it the last active pill of your pack!? You -should- be okay!. It wouldn't surprise me if your period was a little out of whack this time because of that, especially if you've been using the hormonal birth control for long enough that it's got you on a totally regular cycle!.

It's best to keep your birth control on you at all times - in your purse, if you can, so long as you're careful with your purse and don't leave it somewhere! ;) Along with a bottle of water just in case it's time to take it and you aren't somewhere easy to get a drink!.

For future reference, you should read the directions in your birth control when you pick up next month's!. It's always good to know what to do in these sort of situations, because every pill is different!.

Hormonal birth control effects your body by causing your eggs not to come out of your ovaries, that way they can't get fertilized and get you pregnant!. I think this would normally happen during the second week of your cycle (if you weren't taking pills), so that's why I say missing the very last active pill isn't as awful as, say, missing one in the middle of the pack!. The different types I've tried all say to take that missed active pill as soon as you realize you've missed it, though!.

The white pills, assuming you take a brand that has a week "off" so you have your period, are inactive pills and probably don't need to be taken!.

Your best bet is to Google for the manufacturer's website for your specific type of pill for more information!. You can also check out the website below to get more opinions on the matter!.

You shouldn't take the placebo pills, you should go straight onto the next pack of active pills!. This will mean you skip your period but it is the best chance of staying protected!. You should use other methods of contraception as well as the pill for at least 7 days (such as condoms etc)!.

It should have this advice on the packet already!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, continue taking the white pills until they are gone and then start a new pack of pills!.

I don't think that missing only the last active pill of the pack will cause ovulation and a chance of getting pregnant, but you might use other protection until seven days of the new pack of pills to be sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, just keep taking the white pills!. You should get your period soon!. Your birth control pills should come with directions as well!. It should tell you what to do if you miss a pill or two!. Don't stress out about it, you'll be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, just keep going with the white pills, technically you only skipped one active pill, so it's OK!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
