Question: Otoplasty - but im scared of needles!! help!?
hiya
im gettin my ears pinned back in 2 days!.
but am really scared because im not being put to sleep - but going under local anestetic!.
im really scared of needles and know that they have to numb the area!.!.!.
has anybody had it done and how big is the needle!?
did it hurt when it went in!?

Don't think about how big the needle is!. The doctors will give you some drugs to keep you calm!. They don't want you to feel any pain, so they will do their best to numb you!. When you are going to get a shot it helps to point your toes and concentrate on your breathing!. That usually distracts you enough that you don't even feel the shot!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
