Is an irregular period normal?!
Question: Is an irregular period normal!?
I am currently 17, will be 18 in 4 months!. I got my period about 6 months after my 15th birthday!. It has never been regular!. I know this is normal, but it has not come since July!. Its now October! Im a virgin, so i cant be pregnant!. I am very petite (4'11" and about 85-90 lbs) i dont have an E!.O or anything, Im just built really tiny!. When i was 14 I had surgery for Scoliosis, and I had a spinal fusion!. I also have NF, but not the serious kind!. lol!.
its just very frustrating never knowing when i will get it, so please dont tell me im lucky!. because i would rather know than get some symptoms sometimes, and then get 1 spot, then have it not come!. (last month that happened, it was like, a tiny little strand, and then whamo done!.)
I normally exercise, but havnt much since the spring, because i no longer cheer!.
Could the scoliosis effect it!? And if not, is it normal!? I find some sites that say yes and some say no!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My period was irregular for the first two years I had it, and I've heard that that is normal!. Some girls periods stay somewhat irregular though!. This happened to one of my friends, so her doctor put her on birth control pills and it helped to regulate her cycle!. So if it continues and is really annoying, then I would go talk to your doctor about it!. They have seen this a lot before and should be able to help you out and give you some advice! Oh and I think it is highly unlikely that having scoliosis would affect your period, but alas, I'm not a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
