Every girl is different when it comes to their period!. The cycle is very unnormal sometimes!. One time I missed 2 month!! ur period goes on and off!! she is just fine! its normal!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Is she sexually active!? If yes then we know what missed periods represent when having unprotected sex!.
However, if not then I would give it another month before deciding to worry too much!. Young women these days deal with alot more outside stress contributing factors than they ever have before and stress among many other things can throw off a girls period!. Since she just started it may take her body a bit to adjust to a regular cycle!. Give a another month then make some decisions about having her see an obgyn!.
If she is on birth control that too can alter periods!. If she is not on the pill it may be an option for her to regulate her periods as well!. If there are no underlying issues!.

Hey girl,
I only have sons, but I can relate my personal experience to you!. I remember the day when I started mine at age 13 very clearly, as it was one of many things that were considered taboo & never spoken about in my family!. I was at school when I started, and it was so heavy it went through my pants & I tied my jacket around my waist and it went through that also!. I was so uninformed I didn't even know what was happening & was terrified & confused but afraid to tell anyone!.
So I wasn't told what a period was until that night when my older sister saw my bloody clothes and I was in tears thinking my insides were falling out!. I remember very clearly that the first one was terribly heavy, then it was about 2 1/2 months later that I got my next one (I recall my sister asking me why I didn't need any pads from her when 2 months had gone by!.) I didn't really get on a normal monthly cycle for at least 6 months, and they would vary greatly!.
That's just my personal experience, and all worked out fine!. Now I just can't wait till I outgrow the dam things!
Good Luck & Congratulations! Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay,

all you basically need to concentrate on is that your daughter may be slightly different!.
it happens to everyone!. this is not necessarily a bad thing, sometimes after the first period it comes late or skips a month!.

All you need to do is have her prepared because the next one could come any time soon!.

ps!. some periods even skip 3 months then start again

Do not worry it is perfectally normal for a girl to have iregular cycles at the start and just because you and other members of your family regulated straight away does not mean your daughter will!. So don't worry she might have unsettled periods for anything up to a year before she regulates!.

most girls periods are irregular for a while after they start because they're body is changing and it needs to get used to this change, it is very common to miss a couple of months then start again, when i statred my periods i didnt have another one for 3 months but it soon settled down!. if your really worried or just need some reasurence go and see the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Everyone's cycle varies, especially the first year or two they have it, and even after that!. Unless your daughter goes several months without a period, or goes several weeks without stopping her period, it is relatively normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
