I have a discharge question?!

Question: I have a discharge question!?
I've only been off the Pill for three months!. My last period was August 31!. I got a little curious, so I was trying to feel my cervix!. When I pulled my finger out, I had this white-ish discharge that wasn't really stretchy(I mean it's a little thick but it's not stretchy like i just pulled a cheese stick apart or anything!.) My cervix is a little soft and low ( I guess, i don't know)!. I haven't had a period since August 31, a month after I stopped the Pill after taking it for a year!.

It's not a lot, not enough to soak my panties!. There's a little wet spot on them, but it's not horrible!.

It doesn't smell or itch or anything like that!.

What is it!? Ovulation!? Pregnancy!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The discharge may be caused by the pill, due to increase in hormones!. Just watch out for symptoms of a yeast infection(ie itching) If the discharge continues you should be tested for any STD's!. Good Luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like your fertile patch in your cycle!.!.!.!.
Very watery discharge/ egg white discharge means your at your most fertile time!.!.!.!.

I also recently came off pill 4 months ago and i didn't get my period for 6 weeks after my pill period!!!

If you don't get your period in the next week or so tho and have been having unprotected sex i would suggest taking a pregnancy test because i fell pregnant two after coming off pill!!

Good luck xWww@Answer-Health@Com

thick but not stringy discharge is a sign that you're infertile!. the pill makes your mucous thicker so the sperm can not reach the egg!.

It's your natural cycle!. I would run a search regarding cervical mucus!. Chances are, you're getting ready to ovulate or just recently have!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sounds like normal vaginal discharge!. your vagina is a moist environment and the discharge will change throughout the month according to your cycle!. for example when you are ovulating the vaginal secretions are thicker and creamier which gives any sperm a better chance of "swimming" up to the cervix and (perhaps) impregnating you!. at other times the secretions will be thin and a bit watery!. so long as it is not copious amounts (that you need to wear a pad) or offensive smelling or causing burning or itching it is probably just normal!.

your menstral cycle may take a while to become regular again after being on the pill for a year!. if you don't have a period for say 3 months it would be worth getting yourself checked out!.

you said your cervix felt a bit low and soft, how do you know you even actually felt the cervix!. women generally have the same "bits" down there but they are all very different!. if you are really worried visit a womens health clinic and get checked but truly you sound quite normal!.

best of luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

If you're not in tune with your regular cycle, you should then pay extra attention to the symptoms of menstruation, such as discharge, position of your cervix, "mittelschmerz" - cramping around the 14th day of your cycle!.
What you are experiencing (whitish, odorless discharge without other symptoms) might be natural for you!. I know that it is for me!. When I'm ovulating, my discharge is clear (the fact that it's clear and transparent is very useful to me, to tell it from discharge during other days), sticky and really viscous, something like jelly!. Then a week before my period, my discharge is so heavy, white, thick and not transparent, in such quantities that I sometimes think I've started my period!. Then, after my period, it's all back to no discharge at all!.

Of course, the first thing you should do if you're having doubts about whether this might be normal is to go to the doctor!. He or she would take a sample of your vaginal and cervical discharge, a procedure that lasts around half a minute and isn't painful at all!.Then the specimen will be sent of to microbiological analysis and you'll know for sure if it's normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
