Tuberculosis is caused by a bacteria!. It can affect pretty much any part of the body, but most commonly is causes nodules (growths) in the lungs!. The classic symptom of TB is coughing up blood!.

TB is treatable with antibiotics but it takes a long time to cure!. (In the past, people died of it very frequently because there was no cure!.) Today, there are many drug resistant strains of TB but it's still curable if the person is compliant with a very long course of antibiotics!.

Now, having a reaction to a TB skin test does NOT mean a person has TB!. It means he has been exposed to TB at some point in his life, so his body has built up some antibodies to the disease!. When a person has a positive TB skin test, the next step is to have a chest x-ray!. This will show if he actually has the disease!. I know several people who've had positive skin tests who do NOT have the disease!.

It might be a good idea for you to have a TB test yourself!. This involves having a tiny amount of TB toxin injected just under the skin on your arm!. If after 2 days there's no red mark there, it means you haven't been exposed to the disease!.

TB is pretty hard to catch, so even if your ex actually has TB, you wouldn't necessarily have caught it from him!. Still, I'd recommend being tested just so you know you're safe and don't have to worry about it anymore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's a disease that many people died of in the older days
but that is because they didn't have proper diagnosis treatments and treatments for the tuberculosis in general!.

There is a place in Kentucky where i live called Waverly Hills Sanatorium, where they housed alot of people with TB, and it's kinda gross because all the people were dying and there were so many they couldn't "dispose" of all the victims bodies, so they would let them pile up in one room xP and then gather them up and put them in a little cart and push it down a chute!.!.!.weird stuff happened in the older days :/

but anywho back to the TB

Tuberculosis usually attacks the lungs
but can also affect the central nervous system, the lymphatic system, the circulatory system, the genitourinary system, the gastrointestinal system, bones, joints, and even the skin!.

The typical symptoms of tuberculosis are a chronic cough with blood-tinged sputum, fever, night sweats, and weight loss!. Infection of other organs causes a wide range of symptoms!. The diagnosis relies on radiology (commonly chest X-rays), a tuberculin skin test, blood tests, as well as microscopic examination and microbiological culture of bodily fluids!.
Tuberculosis is spread through the air, when people who have the disease cough, sneeze, or spit

TB is a bacterial infection that is spread VERY easily from one person to the next through droplets in the air!.!.that is by coughing, sneezing, even laughing or talking!. It is a disease that usually goes after the lungs causing a respiratory problem, also can attack the central nervous system!. It is easily noticed through either TB skin tests, chest x-rays, or blood tests!. I had a TB test this past year, I don't know if he has gotten it checked yet by a nurse (you have to wait 48-72 hours) but it is common to notice a raised, red bump at first!. This should go down by the time he gets it checked, unless of course he has had contact with TB!. It can be treated with a combonation of drugsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that usually attacks the lungs!. it is spread by coughing, sneezing, etc!. About 1/3 of the world's current population has tuberculosis, but is often asymptomatic (no symptoms)!. The treatment for tuberculosis is usually a 6-12 month course of antibiotics to kill the disease!. Tuberculosis was a larger concern before the discovery of anti-biotics, and now can usually be controlled well!. Hope I helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tuberculosis or otherwise known as TB is a common infectious disease that usually effects the lungs and if left untreated can be deadly!. It is an air born disease and is contagious and can be spread through cough, sneezing and spit!.
