Question: About to try using a tampon!. Any tips!?
I'm 13 and this is the second time I'm going to try!. It's the non-applicator ones by the way!.!.!. and my period is at it's heaviest right now!. I never got it right last time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've been using tampons for the last 13 years (started when I was 12)!. I used the non-applicator for the first 4 years and it was ALWAYS touch and go!. Sometimes it sat right, sometimes it didn't!. I am now using Platex with the plastic applicator!. I use Super for the first few days and then Regular for the end!. The plastic applicator is great because it slides in easily even if you are a little dry!. They do cost a little more than non-applicator and the cardboard applicator, but you are only using them once a month and you are TOTALLY worth it!. After you have put it in, if it feels like it's falling out, pull it out and throw it away!. Get a new one and push a little deeper!. If it feels like it's pushing against your back, tug it out just a little bit!. They are so much nicer and cleaner to use than pads, so I wish you luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I would definitely invest in the applicator kind!. Especially for your first time!. They just make placement a lot easier!. Read the directions as they have a few tips on positions that make it easier to insert!. Most importantly, try to relax!. If you're tensed, it's going to make it much harder to get in!. ok well tlka to your mom about getting applicator ones cause then you kno that the tampon is in where it is supposed to be!.!.!. so you need to read teh directions adn that will help you tons! :] and i kno a lot of ppl can never get the tampon in the right way at first but i did !!! :]Www@Answer-Health@Com
Don't be afraid!. And don't tense up!. Also, make sure it doesn't feel uncomfortable when you put it in!. Don't worry :) you'll get the hang of it!. It just takes practice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Some times applying some lubricating gel on the tip makes insertion easier!. For insertion, the squatting position was the easiest for me, and/or standing with one foot on the toilet seat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
well just relax and wash your hands and read the instructions carefully! but you should really try the ones with the applicator cause they are much easier! well good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
honestly, i don't know im 14 and i still don't use tampons because my mother won't let me!. But read the back of the box it should let you know how to do it!. hope it helps /:Www@Answer-Health@Com
