Question: What does birth control help!?
i started my period recently, im 15 and ive only had a couple of periods so far!. I was thinking about getting birth control, not becuase im sexually active but because i heard it helps many other things!. I have really bad cramps when i get my period!.!.!.!.

Well first off, I'm not going to lecture you about being sexually active at a young age, more and more today kids your age and younger are becoming sexually active, and not many of them understand that Birth control is very important!. So is using condoms etc!.
Birth control, depending on the type, dosage etc can help clear your skin, keep periods regular, minimize cramping!. Although, reverse can happen, acne could occur, cramping may increase!. It really depends on how your body will be effected by the type of birth control!.
Good thinking about the Birth Control!. But please, if you are going to be sexually active, remember Birth Control does NOT protect against STD's!. And at the most it's only 99% reliable!. The one percent can be bigger then you think!. My aunt got pregnant with one of her kids on Birth control!. So always use other forms of protection!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
