Question: I have a lump in my breast!. Is my doctor right!?
I have a hard painless dense mass in my left breast!. It is about 2" wide and 2" tall!. I have had an ultrasound done on it and my doctor says it is just a "mass of tissue" and that I have very dense breast!. I want to believe her, but its just so hard and weird feeling!.!.!.and it doesn't go away or get any softer!.!.!.It does however get bigger when I get my period!. Thanks in advance for any advice!. i have the same thing EXTREMELY DENSE BREAST!.!.!.i had mamogram done and ultrasound my doc told me its nothing to worry about some girls can have lumpy breast its just tissue thickening but i'm gonna get a needle biopsy done !.!.my lump is hard as well and when my period is near its get heavy and painful as well !.!.!.u should ask ur doc 2 send u 4 a biopsy needle !.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I wouldn't settle for that answer either!. It's your body and if you're uncomfortable with your doctor's answer!. !. !. then by all means get a second opinion!. You know your body more than anyone!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
your doctor is most likely correct however for peace of mind there is nothing wrong with taking the ultrasound to another doctor for a second opinionWww@Answer-Health@Com
