Bloody discharge...is this my period or what is going on?!

My period is due the 16th (this month)!. On the 10th, I got some spotting!. Since then (tonight is the 13th), I have gotten some mucousy bloody discharge every day!. Sometimes it appears to be black when I see a few spots on my underwear!. It's not too thick, it's just like light bleeding but thicker because it is mucousy!. Sometimes the discharge is a very small amount and it is very thick!. To give a proper description, it's actually like little red boogers that end up on my panties!. But it never hurts, itches or anything!.

I am on OrtoTricyclen Lo!. A few times this month, I missed taking the pill one night, but would just take two the next night!. This happened about two times during the month!.

Last week, I was quite stressed and anxious, could that be it!?

Now I don't know when to start my new pack of pills because I always started them on the 1st day of my period!. I don't know if the spotting I have been having is my period or what! I have always had regular periods!.
