I have my period and i'm taking a 3-hour long test tomorrow?!

Question: I have my period and i'm taking a 3-hour long test tomorrow!?
it's in the pre-period (brown discharge) stage at the moment but tomorrow i have to take a 3-hour test (PSATs) and usually i get pretty bad cramps during the first 2 days of it! is there anything i can do in advance to cool down the pain!? i'll take some motrin, but is there anything else!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Actually I think Premsym PMS works much better than motrin! It does much more than just pain relief!. Also, stay away from eggs, coffee (not likely before PSATs!.!.!. just drink lots of water after coffee) and pork!. Those all cause inflamation!. If you like ginger, get some ginger candies, they help the bloating and pain!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I agree with babeguhh on the breakfast!. Caffeine also helps with cramps and water weight gain!. Drink coffee in the morning, take a hot bath, and take ibuprofen or Aleve before you leave!. If you are taking Ibuprofen, take an extra dose with you to school!. I believe Aleve's dose is typically one per day!. (read label) I prefer Ibuprofen but some prefer Aleve!. Also buy a thermacare heat wrap and put it on in the morning under your clothes!. They really work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

before going just lay down for 30 minutes with a heating pad on ur stomach if u dont have a heating pad warm some hot water put it in a water bottle and just relax then take alive or any kind of thing that relives pain and eat brekfast something that will fill you dont go on an empty stomach that will make it worse and youll be allrightWww@Answer-Health@Com

i'm taking the psats tomorrow too, and they suck!.
instead of motrin, take midol which is made specifically for women on their period!.
also, make sure you wear a large tampon if you have a heavy flow!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's just a PSAT, don't take it too seriously!. The SATs are what are really important for college!. PSATs are just for National Merit Scholarship recommendations!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

2 alives!. Breakfast: try some bananas, oatmeal, fruits, and yogarts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take motrin if that's what helps you the most, use heat (heating pads or a hot bath) and plenty of water!. Be sure you're breathing deep into your stomach (slowly) so you're getting enough oxygen!

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
